Mrs McReynolds accompanied the choir on the newly restored original grand piano belonging to AJ Dawson Grammar School and coordinated the evening with Ms Dodd.
A range of religious and secular texts were read by students with the Christmas message of love and peace for all with readings which included; The Adoration of the Wise Men by Cecil Frances Alexander, The Christmas Lights Went Out by Barbara Vance, and Twas the First Night of Christmas. Reverend Jane from Wingate Parish led the evening and finished with prayers and a wish for a Merry Christmas from all at Wellfield to the local community with the congregation led by the choir in singing We Wish you a Merry Christmas. Many thanks to all those who came and supported the evening, we hope to see you again next year!
